What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to The Standardx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the construction documentation submittal should include schedules and specifications, material samples and specifications, including locations of all specified items. This submittal is a crucial step in the construction phase, ensuring that the final construction aligns with The Standardx's brand standards and requirements. The franchisee must submit a complete and fully coordinated set of final construction documents for review and approval by The Standardx.
The purpose of this thorough review process is to ensure compliance with brand standards and to identify any necessary modifications before permitting. The involvement of a licensed architect and engineers is essential, as they must properly seal the final submittal. This process helps to maintain consistency and quality across all The Standardx franchise locations.
Submittals also include architectural, interior design, landscape, pool/water feature (if applicable), lighting, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), FLS (fire and life safety), IT, A/V, food service, and laundry drawings. Additionally, all value engineering exercises, keyed FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) plans, FF&E samples and specifications, and exterior signage drawings are required. This comprehensive approach ensures that every aspect of the construction project is carefully considered and meets The Standardx's standards.
