What This Means (2025 FDD)

Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the process for a The Standardx franchisee to appoint and change their representative for communications with Hyatt is not explicitly detailed within the provided excerpts. However, the FDD does state that franchisees must notify Hyatt immediately of any apparent infringement or challenge to the franchisee's use of any Proprietary Mark, Copyrighted Materials, or Confidential Information.

While the FDD does not outline a specific procedure for designating a representative, it does emphasize the importance of communication with Hyatt regarding certain critical issues. Specifically, franchisees are required to notify Hyatt immediately of any apparent infringement or challenge to the use of Proprietary Marks, Copyrighted Materials, or Confidential Information. This suggests that there is an expectation of ongoing communication between the franchisee and Hyatt.

To fully understand the process for appointing and changing a representative for communications, a prospective The Standardx franchisee should directly inquire with the franchisor, Hyatt, about the specific procedures and requirements. This will ensure clarity on who the appropriate contact person is and how to officially designate or change that representative.
