What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to The Standardx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee will have access to the CRS (Central Reservation System) and advertising listings during a specific period. This period starts before the hotel's opening date, as reasonably specified by Hyatt, and continues for the remainder of the franchise term.
This means that The Standardx franchisee can expect to have access to these crucial systems and advertising platforms from the pre-opening phase of their hotel and throughout the entire duration of their franchise agreement. This early access is intended to help the franchisee establish their presence and attract customers from the outset. The franchisor, Hyatt, retains the right to specify the exact start date of this access period, ensuring alignment with their overall marketing and operational strategies.
However, The Standardx can suspend the franchisee's access to the CRS, GDS, and ADS if the franchisee fails to correct any default or comply with the agreement after receiving written notice. If access is suspended, it will last no more than six months, after which The Standardx will either reinstate access or terminate the agreement. During any suspension period, the franchisee must continue to pay all fees and comply with all agreements.
