What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to The Standardx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, The Standardx will place its trainers at the Hotel for its opening. The FDD also states that The Standardx sends a pre-opening team of 2 to 3 trainers to assist with training the Hotel staff on brand standards and related issues concerning the Hotel's opening.
The Standardx franchisee is required to pay a fee, as well as the trainers' travel and living expenses. The trainers typically stay for a minimum of 7 nights, not including virtual training, and may conduct this training on more than one visit, at The Standardx's option.
The trainers will generally train Hotel managers and staff with aspects of day-to-day operations, including guest services, housekeeping and laundry efficiencies, food and beverage, front desk, culinary (if applicable), and Hyatt systems, tools, and initiatives with hotel leaders.
