What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to The Standardx's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Item 11 references FF&E, which stands for furniture, fixtures, and equipment. The Standardx will identify the brands, types, makes and models of FF&E that meet their System Standards. These standards apply to both products and services. The franchisor may also designate and approve suppliers for these items.
The Standardx or its affiliate may directly provide, deliver, and sometimes install certain FF&E items. For other items, they will provide franchisees with a list of approved suppliers. Franchisees must adhere to The Standardx's System Standards and specifications for FF&E, as outlined in System Standards or other communications.
This means that as a franchisee, you will need to purchase FF&E that meets The Standardx's standards, potentially from approved suppliers. This ensures consistency across all franchise locations. It is important to carefully review Item 8 of the Franchise Disclosure Document, as referenced in Item 11, to understand the specific requirements and approved suppliers for FF&E.
