- Furnish you with a reservation service (Franchise Agreement, Section 4.2).

- Approve the preventative maintenance program and a "deep clean" program you are required to put in place (Franchise Agreement, Section 6.4.2).

- As discussed in Item 8, you are required to comply with the Standards and specifications issued to you in the Manual. Among other things, the Standards may regulate the designated and approved suppliers of equipment, signs, fixtures, opening inventory and supplies you are required to use. While we do not currently provide, deliver or install any of these items directly, we may do so in the future.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Surestay Hotel By Best Western's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Surestay Hotel By Best Western is required to furnish a reservation service to franchisees. Specifically, prior to the hotel's operation, Surestay Hotel By Best Western will furnish the franchisee with a reservation service, as stated in Section 4.2 of the Franchise Agreement.
During the operation of the hotel, Surestay Hotel By Best Western will continue to provide access to the reservation service as long as the franchisee is compliant with the obligations outlined in the Franchise Agreement, including the standards in the Manual. Furthermore, Surestay Hotel By Best Western will use commercially reasonable efforts to market the franchisee's hotel on its reservation service and any associated loyalty programs.
The PMS (Property Management System) manages availability, rates, restrictions, guarantees, and reservation delivery within a reservation service. Franchisees are obligated to exclusively use the approved reservation service provided by Surestay Hotel By Best Western and are restricted from utilizing individual hotel websites or other channels for accepting reservations.
