What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Sonesta Simply Suites Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must ensure their Food and Beverage Operations comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, as well as all applicable Brand Standards. These standards are further detailed in the Brand Manual, which Sonesta Simply Suites periodically updates. The Brand Manual will specify the products and services that the hotel must offer, including food and beverage operations, dining, bar, lounge, retail food and beverage services, meetings, events, and catering services.
Sonesta Simply Suites requires franchisees (or their Management Company, if applicable) to provide training programs to their staff in the manner specified by the brand. Failure to comply with these laws, rules, regulations, and Brand Standards can result in Sonesta Simply Suites revoking approval of the franchisee's Food and Beverage Operations and other ancillary product and service operations.
This requirement ensures that all Sonesta Simply Suites hotels maintain a consistent level of quality and comply with legal requirements, which protects the brand's reputation. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the Brand Manual and understand the training requirements to ensure they can meet these standards. It is also important to stay updated on any changes to the Brand Standards or applicable laws and regulations to avoid potential penalties or loss of approval for food and beverage operations.
