What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Sonesta Simply Suites's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to specific standards regarding the condition and appearance of their hotel. Franchisees must only use the premises to operate a Sonesta Simply Suites hotel, unless they receive prior written consent from Sonesta Simply Suites for any other use. They are required to display only approved signs, emblems, designs, artwork, lettering, logos, and advertising materials both inside and outside the premises.
The FDD emphasizes that franchisees must maintain their hotel's condition and appearance according to the Brand Standards. This includes operating the business efficiently, providing high-quality services, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and courteous service. These standards are designed to ensure consistency across all Sonesta Simply Suites locations and to uphold the brand's image.
These requirements mean that prospective Sonesta Simply Suites franchisees need to be prepared to invest in maintaining the physical appearance and cleanliness of their hotel. They must also ensure that all signage and advertising materials align with the brand's standards. Failure to comply with these standards could result in penalties or impact the franchisee's ability to renew their franchise agreement.
