What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Sonesta Simply Suites's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Royalty fee, which is 5% of Gross Rooms Revenue, is payable monthly by the 20th day of the following month.
This means that a Sonesta Simply Suites franchisee must calculate their Gross Rooms Revenue for a given month and remit 5% of that amount to the franchisor by the 20th of the subsequent month. For example, revenue generated in January is due by February 20th.
It is important to note that the obligation to pay monthly Royalty fees begins on the earlier of the Opening Date of the hotel or the date the franchisee begins operating the hotel under the Sonesta Simply Suites brand.
