Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Note 1 - Unless otherwise indicated, all fees described in this Item 6 are payable to us and are non-refundable. Fees may not be uniform for all franchisees. You will authorize us to debit your checking, savings, or other account automatically for Royalties, Brand Promotion Fees, and other amounts due to us or our affiliates. We may process the transfers at the time any payment is due and owing. If we permit you to pay by any other means, we may condition our approval on the payment of the alternative payment fee per transaction. We also may periodically change your required method of payment upon notice to you.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Sonesta Simply Suites's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the fees outlined in Item 6 may not be uniform for all franchisees. The document specifies that unless otherwise indicated, all fees are payable to Sonesta Simply Suites and are non-refundable. Franchisees authorize Sonesta Simply Suites to automatically debit their accounts for royalties, brand promotion fees, and other amounts due.

Sonesta Simply Suites may permit franchisees to pay by methods other than direct debit, but this is conditional on the payment of an alternative payment fee per transaction. The method of payment may also be changed periodically with notice.

This lack of uniformity means that different Sonesta Simply Suites franchisees could potentially pay different amounts for certain fees, depending on factors such as payment methods or specific circumstances outlined in the Franchise Agreement. Prospective franchisees should carefully review the terms and conditions related to fees to understand how they apply individually.
