What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Sonesta Select Sonesta Essential's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must pay a one-time reservation implementation fee. This fee ranges from $650 to $1,745.
This fee is incurred when the franchisee's hotel becomes active in the Central Reservation System. While the fee is charged by Sonesta Select Sonesta Essential's third-party Central Reservation System provider, it is invoiced and collected directly by Sonesta Select Sonesta Essential.
In addition to this one-time fee, franchisees are responsible for all costs associated with fulfilling their technology obligations. These costs include, but are not limited to, data circuit charges and supplies used for the Computer System's operation and maintenance. Franchisees must also maintain specified high-speed internet connections and provide complimentary Wi-Fi and an in-room entertainment system for guests, including a branded internet landing page.
