What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, the onboarding administration fee for a Sonesta Select Sonesta Essential hotel is due during or immediately after the onboarding process. This fee is non-refundable. The amount of the onboarding administration fee differs based on the brand. For a Sonesta Select-branded hotel, the fee is $5,000, while for a Sonesta Essential-branded hotel, it is $2,500. If a franchisee is acquiring an existing branded hotel, the onboarding administration fee is reduced to $2,500 for a Sonesta Select and $2,000 for a Sonesta Essential.
