Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Notices must be addressed to the party to be notified at its most current principal business address of which the notifying party has notice (which address may not be a P.O. Box). If to us, initially it shall be at the address set forth in the introductory paragraph, to the attention of Asst. General Counsel – Franchise. If to you, notice may be delivered to your Hotel or the notice address identified on Exhibit A. Any required payment or report which we do not actually receive during regular business hours on the date due (or postmarked by postal authorities at least two days before then) will be deemed delinquent.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any notices to Sonesta Select Sonesta Essential should be initially addressed to the address set forth in the introductory paragraph of the franchise agreement, to the attention of the Asst. General Counsel – Franchise. The FDD does not provide the specific address in the introductory paragraph, but it can be found in the disclosure document.

For notices to the franchisee, the address may be the franchisee's Hotel or the notice address identified on Exhibit A of the Franchise Agreement. It is important to note that P.O. Boxes are not acceptable as principal business addresses for either party.

Sonesta Select Sonesta Essential requires that all notices be sent via Registered or Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested, with postage prepaid. This ensures proof of delivery and receipt. Any required payment or report not actually received during regular business hours on the due date (or postmarked at least two days before) will be considered delinquent.
