The "Franchise System" includes our and our affiliates' distinct business formats, methods, procedures, signs, designs, layouts, standards, specifications, and the applicable Marks used to operate Brand Hotels of the applicable designated brand concept. Brand Hotels are provided access to: a reservation service; advertising, publicity and other marketing programs and materials; training programs and materials; standards, specifications and policies for construction, furnishing, operation, appearance and service of the Brand Hotel; other elements we refer to in the Franchise Agreement, the Brand Standards, the Brand Manual (as defined below) or in other communications to you; and programs for our inspecting your Hotel and consulting with you.

Specifically, Brand Hotels gain access to several resources and programs. These include a reservation service, advertising, publicity, and other marketing programs and materials. Franchisees also benefit from training programs and materials, along with standards, specifications, and policies for construction, furnishing, operation, appearance, and service of the Brand Hotel.
Additionally, the Franchise System incorporates other elements referenced in the Franchise Agreement, Brand Standards, the Brand Manual, or other communications. Sonesta Select Sonesta Essential also provides programs for inspecting the Hotel and consulting with the franchisee to ensure adherence to standards and provide support.
