Under what circumstances does RE/MAX Regional have the right to terminate the Team Office Amendment?

This Amendment and all rights granted hereunder to operate the Team Office shall terminate upon the transfer, termination, Abandonment, or expiration of the Franchise Agreement. In addition, RE/MAX Regional has the right to terminate this Amendment if:
- A. Franchisee fails to pay any monies when due and fails to cure such breach within 10 days of receipt of written notice; or
- B. As set forth in Subsection 1.A.d of this Amendment, Franchisee fails to have at least two Sales Associates registered with the Team Office at any time or breaches any other non-monetary provision set forth in this Amendment and fails to cure such default within 30 days of receipt of written notice.
Such notice will advise Franchisee, and Franchisee hereby understands and agrees, that if the default is not cured within the specified time period, this Amendment and Franchisee's right to operate the Team Office will automatically terminate without further notice from us. In the event of termination of the Team Office, Franchisee will be required to comply with all applicable de-identification requirements set forth in Section 14 of the Franchise Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Remax's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, RE/MAX Regional has specific rights regarding the termination of the Team Office Amendment. The Team Office Amendment will terminate upon the transfer, termination, abandonment, or expiration of the Franchise Agreement.
RE/MAX Regional can terminate the Team Office Amendment if the franchisee fails to pay monies when due and does not cure the breach within 10 days of written notice. Additionally, if the franchisee fails to have at least two sales associates registered with the Team Office or breaches any other non-monetary provision and fails to cure it within 30 days of written notice, RE/MAX Regional has the right to terminate the amendment.
The notice provided to the franchisee will state that if the default is not corrected within the specified time, the Team Office Amendment and the franchisee's right to operate the Team Office will automatically terminate without further notice. Upon termination, the franchisee must comply with all de-identification requirements outlined in Section 14 of the Franchise Agreement. This means the franchisee must remove all Remax branding and identifying marks from the Team Office location.
