What is the Team Office Initial Fee that Remax franchisees must pay for each Team Office?

According to Remax's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is required to pay a nonrefundable $1,000 Team Office Initial Fee for each Team Office that Remax, LLC allows them to open. This fee is paid to RE/MAX Regional.

This fee is in addition to the standard initial franchise fee, which varies based on whether the franchise is for residential or commercial real estate and the population density of the area. For residential real estate franchises, the initial fee is $35,000 in high-density areas (population of 30,000 or more) or $17,500 in low-density areas (population less than 30,000). For commercial real estate franchises, the initial fee is $25,000, regardless of population density.

It is important to note that RE/MAX Regional has the discretion to vary, waive, reduce, defer, or make exceptions to its published fee structure and payment terms. These incentives may be offered to facilitate acquisitions, mergers, or conversions, accommodate existing franchisees acquiring additional offices, or encourage expansion in certain markets. However, Remax makes no guarantees that these incentives will continue to be available.
