What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Remax Franchise Disclosure Document, the purpose of the Franchisee Disclosure Questionnaire is to determine whether any unauthorized, untrue, inaccurate, or misleading statements or promises were made to the prospective franchisee. This questionnaire is used by RE/MAX Integrated Regions, LLC to ensure that franchisees are making informed decisions based on accurate information.

The questionnaire requires prospective franchisees to review a series of questions and provide honest responses. These questions cover various aspects of the franchise agreement and the information provided in the Franchise Disclosure Document. By answering the questionnaire, the franchisee acknowledges that they have received and understood the Franchise Agreement and the Franchise Disclosure Document.

The questionnaire also addresses critical aspects such as reliance on information, representations made by Remax employees, understanding of business success factors, and awareness of territorial rights. Franchisees must confirm that they are relying on information specifically from RE/MAX Integrated Regions, LLC, and not from any parent company. They also need to indicate whether any employee made promises regarding revenues, profits, or likelihood of success. Furthermore, the questionnaire clarifies that the success of the business depends on the franchisee's skills, competition, economic factors, and that Remax has the right to grant other franchises nearby. By signing the questionnaire, the franchisee confirms the truthfulness of their responses, which Remax relies upon for the agreement.
