The Platform and its content
RE/MAX reserves the right to access and use the Platform, and any content and information therein, to the extent necessary to run the Platform and make it available to You and others, to
protect the Platform, to improve the Platform, and to otherwise use the Platform and its content for a legitimate business purpose.
The layout, formatting, and features of and access privileges for the Platform shall be as determined or specified by us in our sole discretion. We shall also have the sole right to modify, upgrade, and change the Platform, including through the removal or modification of any content (including User Content) on the Platform. We will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of the Platform or its content is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of the Platform, or all of the Platform, to users, in our sole discretion.
Accessing the Platform and Account Security
You also acknowledge that Your account is personal to You and agree not to provide any other person with access to the Platform or portions of it using Your username, password, or other security information. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of Your username or password or any other breach of security. You also agree to ensure that You exit from Your Account at the end of each session. You should use particular caution when accessing Your Account from a public or shared computer so others cannot view or record Your password or other personal information.
We have the right to disable any user name, password, or other identifier, whether chosen by You or provided by us, at any time in our sole discretion for any or no reason, including if, in our opinion, You have violated any provision of these Terms of Use.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Remax's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Remax has the right to modify, upgrade, and change its platform, including removing or modifying any content. Remax also reserves the right to access and use the platform to run, protect, and improve it for legitimate business purposes. These changes can occur at any time, and Remax will not be liable if the platform or its content is unavailable for any period. Remax can also restrict access to parts or all of the platform at its sole discretion.
Remax may revise and update the terms of use for its site at its sole discretion, and these changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the site means the user accepts these changes, and it is the user's responsibility to review the terms regularly. The layout, formatting, and features of the site, including access privileges, are determined by Remax in its sole discretion.
Remax also requires franchisees to maintain a computer system compatible with Remax's communications and data reporting requirements. Remax may modify the specifications for the computer system's components and related hardware or software, and franchisees must upgrade or update their hardware and software as specified by Remax, bearing the costs of these updates. This includes maintaining current versions of operating systems like Microsoft Windows or macOS and having email capability and Internet access.
