What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Remax's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must have at least two Sales Associates registered with a Remax Team Office at all times. If the franchisee fails to maintain this minimum number of Sales Associates, it constitutes a breach of the Team Office Amendment.

If the franchisee fails to have at least two Sales Associates registered with the Team Office, Remax Regional has the right to terminate the Team Office Amendment. Remax will provide written notice of the breach, and the franchisee has a 30-day period to cure the default. If the default is not resolved within this timeframe, the Team Office Amendment will automatically terminate without further notice from Remax.

Upon termination of the Team Office, the franchisee must comply with all de-identification requirements outlined in Section 14 of the Franchise Agreement. This ensures that the Team Office is properly disassociated from the Remax brand and system. This requirement to maintain a minimum number of sales associates ensures that the Team Office remains a viable and active part of the Remax network.
