Are Remax franchisees required to subscribe to MAX/Center, and are their Sales Associates also required to subscribe?

You will be required to subscribe to—and to ensure that each of your Sales Associates subscribes to—MAX/Center® (or simply MAXCenter), a password protected website hosted by REMAX, LLC, and acknowledge and agree to be bound by the MAXCenter User Agreement (the current form of this agreement is attached as Exhibit A-5). MAXCenter, as of the Issuance Date of this disclosure document, is a free service that serves as a members' only electronic communication website enabling REMAX, LLC to share important information with you and other RE/MAX affiliates in a secure environment and also includes: educational and motivational programming available via RE/MAX University; an e-mail forwarding feature; a payment processing platform, an electronic lead referral system; online tools for generating personalized advertising; as well as a market place where you can purchase products and services from approved suppliers (see also Item 11 below). REMAX, LLC is not obligated to maintain the MAXCenter website —or the services offered through it—indefinitely and may discontinue it at any time without notice or liability to you.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Remax's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to subscribe to MAX/Center, and they must also ensure that each of their Sales Associates subscribes to it as well. MAX/Center is described as a password-protected website hosted by REMAX, LLC. As of the issuance date of the document, MAX/Center is a free service.
MAX/Center serves as a communication platform that allows REMAX, LLC to share information with franchisees and other RE/MAX affiliates in a secure environment. It includes educational and motivational programming through RE/MAX University, an email forwarding feature, a payment processing platform, an electronic lead referral system, and online tools for personalized advertising. It also provides a marketplace where franchisees can purchase products and services from approved suppliers.
However, Remax, LLC is not obligated to maintain the MAX/Center website or the services offered through it indefinitely and may discontinue it at any time without notice or liability to the franchisee. This means that while it is currently a required and free service, Remax has the right to change or discontinue it in the future, which could impact how franchisees and their sales associates communicate and access resources from Remax.
