What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Remax's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Component One Continuing Franchisee Fee for franchisees in Minnesota and Wisconsin is $138 per Sales Associate in your office. This fee is part of the monthly ongoing fees franchisees are required to pay to Remax Regional.
Remax Regional has the right to increase the Component One Continuing Franchise Fee once per calendar year, provided they give at least 60 days' prior written notice. Any such increase cannot exceed 10% of the current fee. The FDD anticipates that this fee may increase by at least $2.50 on July 1, 2026, and by at least $2.50 on the 1st day of July in each subsequent year of the Franchise Agreement.
It is important to note that in Minnesota and Wisconsin, some franchisees who predate the Component Two Continuing Franchise Fee may have Legacy Sales Associates. These franchisees may be entitled to renew their franchise agreement under terms that do not require the payment of Component Two fees for those Legacy Sales Associates. In such cases, these franchisees are required to pay a higher Legacy Continuing Franchise Fee on behalf of their Legacy Sales Associates, which will increase at the same rate as the standard Component One fee.
