What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Remax's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Component One Continuing Franchisee Fee for franchisees in Minnesota and Wisconsin is $138 per sales associate in your office. This fee is part of the monthly ongoing fees that franchisees are required to pay to Remax Regional.
The Component One Continuing Franchise Fee is due on the 10th day of each month. Remax Regional has the right to increase this fee once per calendar year, provided they give at least 60 days' prior written notice. Any increase, however, cannot exceed 10% of the current fee. The FDD anticipates that this fee may increase by at least $2.50 on July 1, 2026, and by at least $2.50 on the 1st day of July in each subsequent year of the Franchise Agreement.
It's important to note that in Minnesota and Wisconsin, some franchisees who predate the Component Two Continuing Franchise Fee may have Legacy Sales Associates and may be required to pay a higher Legacy Continuing Franchise Fee instead of the standard Component One fee for those associates. The Legacy Continuing Franchise Fee will increase at the same time and in the same amount as any increase in the Component One Continuing Franchise Fee. A prospective franchisee in Minnesota should clarify with Remax whether they might be subject to the Legacy Continuing Franchise Fee.
