What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Red Wagon Club Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is solely responsible for acquiring the Technology System. While Red Wagon Club specifies the standards and specifications for the Technology System, the franchisee bears the responsibility for obtaining, operating, maintaining, and upgrading it. This includes the Technology System itself, its connectivity, and any third-party interfaces necessary for its operation.
This means that a prospective Red Wagon Club franchisee needs to factor in the costs of not only purchasing or licensing the required technology but also the ongoing expenses of keeping it running smoothly and up-to-date. The franchisee is also responsible for ensuring that the Technology System interfaces properly with Red Wagon Club's and any third party's computer systems at the specified connection speeds.
The franchisee is fully accountable for any consequences resulting from the Technology System's improper operation, maintenance, or upgrades. This highlights the importance of budgeting for reliable IT support and staying current with Red Wagon Club's technology requirements to avoid potential disruptions or failures in the business. Franchisees should carefully consider these technology-related obligations and costs when evaluating the Red Wagon Club franchise opportunity.
