You must list and advertise your RWC Business with the online directories we periodically prescribe and establish any other Online Presence (as defined in Item 13, below) we require or authorize, each in accordance with our System Standards. If other RWC Businesses are located within the directory's distribution area, we may require you to participate in a collective advertisement with them and to pay your share of that collective advertisement.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Red Wagon Club's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be required to participate in collective advertising with other Red Wagon Club businesses. Specifically, if other Red Wagon Club businesses are located within the distribution area of an online directory, Red Wagon Club may require franchisees to participate in a collective advertisement and pay their share of the costs.
This requirement is tied to the franchisee's obligation to list and advertise their Red Wagon Club business with online directories prescribed by the franchisor. The franchisor retains the discretion to determine when collective advertising is necessary and how the costs will be shared among participating franchisees.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they should be prepared to allocate a portion of their local advertising budget to collective advertising efforts if required by Red Wagon Club. The amount will depend on the specific directory and the number of other Red Wagon Club businesses in the area. It is important to factor in this potential cost when evaluating the overall marketing expenses associated with the franchise.
