What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Red Wagon Club Franchise Disclosure Document, as a condition of the license to use the Marks and Licensed Materials, a licensee must spend a minimum of $10,000 on local advertising each calendar month of the Term. This is referred to as the "Local Advertising Requirement." The purpose of this advertising is to promote the licensee's Red Wagon Club Business and/or the licensee's Law Firm Business.
All advertising materials related to the Red Wagon Club Business, or those that contain or reference the Licensed Materials or the Brand, must receive written approval from Red Wagon Club before they are used. This requirement ensures that all advertising aligns with the brand's standards and messaging.
For a prospective Red Wagon Club licensee, this means allocating at least $10,000 per month for local advertising efforts and submitting all advertising materials for approval before use. This ongoing expense should be factored into the licensee's financial projections and business plan. Failing to meet the minimum advertising spend or using unapproved materials could potentially lead to a breach of the license agreement.
