What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Red Wagon Club's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the cost of furniture and fixtures for a new franchise can vary significantly based on several factors. The estimated range for this expense is $3,500 to $20,000, and this amount is to be paid as incurred to outside suppliers. The specific amount depends on the location and size of the franchisee's office, the type of equipment purchased, and the overall setup of the Red Wagon Club Business.
Notably, the FDD anticipates that franchisees will operate their Red Wagon Club business from the office of an existing Affiliate Law Firm Business. If that existing office already meets Red Wagon Club's System Standards, a new franchisee may not need to incur expenses related to furniture and fixtures at all. This could substantially reduce the initial investment required to start the franchise.
Prospective franchisees should carefully evaluate the existing facilities of their Affiliate Law Firm Business and compare them against Red Wagon Club's System Standards. This will help determine the extent to which new furniture and fixtures will be required. It is also advisable to obtain quotes from multiple suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and to explore options for leasing equipment to potentially lower upfront costs.
