What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Red Wagon Club's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated initial investment for computers and equipment ranges from $1,000 to $6,000. This investment covers the acquisition of essential items such as a laptop, monitor, docking station, computer mouse, and keyboard necessary for operating the Red Wagon Club business. The payment is due in a lump sum and is to be paid to outside suppliers.
However, the FDD also notes that if a franchisee operates their Red Wagon Club business from the office of an affiliated law firm and that office meets the System Standards, the franchisee may not be required to incur certain expenditures related to computers and equipment. This could significantly reduce the initial investment for some franchisees.
Prospective franchisees should consider their specific circumstances, particularly the location of their Red Wagon Club business, when estimating the cost of computers and equipment. If operating from an affiliated law firm's office that already meets the technology standards, this expense may be avoided entirely. It is important to confirm with Red Wagon Club whether the affiliated law firm's existing equipment meets the required System Standards to avoid unexpected costs.
