What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Red Wagon Club Franchise Disclosure Document, if the Operating Principal no longer holds at least 51% ownership, resigns, indicates they wish to cease acting as Operating Principal, or is disapproved by Red Wagon Club, the franchisee must recruit a new Operating Principal within 30 days of the change or disapproval. The franchisee is then required to submit all documents requested by Red Wagon Club regarding the new Operating Principal for their review and approval.

This requirement ensures that Red Wagon Club maintains control over who is managing the RWC Business. The approval process allows Red Wagon Club to assess the qualifications and suitability of the proposed Operating Principal, safeguarding their brand and business model.

It is important for a prospective franchisee to understand the scope of documents that Red Wagon Club may request. Franchisees should inquire about the specific types of documents typically required during the approval process to ensure they can comply promptly should the need arise. This could include background checks, financial statements, resumes, or other relevant information that demonstrates the candidate's ability to manage the RWC Business effectively.
