What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Red Wagon Club Franchise Disclosure Document, Red Wagon Club administers the Initial Training Program for any Designated Managers hired after the RWC Business begins operations. Franchisees are responsible for paying Red Wagon Club a fee to administer the Initial Training Program to future Designated Managers. Franchisees must also cover any additional expenses for the training, including costs associated with the Designated Manager attending the training at Red Wagon Club's designated training site. The FDD states that this fee is subject to change without notice.

The Initial Training Program is a combined format of digital and in-person training. The digital training portion consists of a minimum of 10 weeks of virtual training, including a weekly pre-recorded video, a weekly group coaching call, and a franchisee homework assignment. Red Wagon Club also provides an individual firm coaching call a minimum of twice per month. The in-person training occurs at Red Wagon Club's office in Pittsburgh, PA, and is estimated to last approximately 3 to 5 days, though Red Wagon Club may conduct the in-person sessions virtually or at another location.

Red Wagon Club's FDD states that the Operating Principal and Designated Manager must complete the Initial Training Program to Red Wagon Club's satisfaction before opening the RWC Business for operations, and within 180 days of signing the Franchise Agreement. If the Operating Principal, Designated Manager, or any other required trainees fail to complete the Initial Training Program to Red Wagon Club's satisfaction, Red Wagon Club may require the franchisee to attend additional training. If additional training is necessary after completion of the Initial Training Program, Red Wagon Club may provide up to 3 additional days of training at the then-current fee for additional training, which is currently $1,000 per trainer, per day, plus costs and expenses.
