What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 My Salon Suite Franchise Disclosure Document, My Salon Suite can terminate a franchise agreement under several conditions, some with an opportunity to cure the issue and some without.
My Salon Suite may terminate the franchise agreement with notice if the franchisee fails to adhere to the Development Schedule, including executing each Additional Franchise Agreement. Additionally, My Salon Suite can terminate the agreement without providing an opportunity to cure if the franchisee attempts an unauthorized transfer of the franchise, is convicted of a crime that adversely affects the brand, commits fraud or misrepresentation, engages in activities that materially impair the brand's goodwill and fails to correct them within 24 hours, makes misrepresentations in the franchise application, fails to complete My Salon Suite University or attend the Annual Conference (unless excused), or has received three or more written notices to cure within a 12-month period.
These termination conditions highlight the importance of adhering to the franchise agreement, maintaining ethical business practices, and protecting the My Salon Suite brand. For a prospective franchisee, this means understanding and complying with all aspects of the agreement, ensuring transparent and honest dealings, and actively participating in required training and conferences. Failure to meet these obligations could lead to the early termination of the franchise and potential financial repercussions.
