Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You may not relocate your Franchised Business without our written consent, which we will not unreasonably withhold provided: (i) the new location is located within the Protected Territory and meets our then-current criteria for an Approved Location; and (ii) you pay our then-current relocation fee (if any).

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to My Salon Suite's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a relocation fee may be applicable if a franchisee wishes to move their franchised business. The FDD states that franchisees may not relocate their business without My Salon Suite's written consent, which will not be unreasonably withheld if certain conditions are met.

Specifically, relocation is contingent upon two primary factors. First, the new location must be within the franchisee's protected territory and meet My Salon Suite's then-current criteria for an approved location. Second, the franchisee must pay My Salon Suite's then-current relocation fee, if such a fee exists at the time of relocation.

This means that while My Salon Suite permits relocation under certain circumstances, it retains control over where a franchise can move and may impose a fee for the relocation. Prospective franchisees should inquire about the amount of the relocation fee to fully understand the costs associated with moving their business in the future.
