What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to My Salon Suite's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a 'Territory Change Addendum' is a document that may be created if a franchisee's approved location qualifies for a Nonstandard Territory, which is defined as either a densely populated area or a sparsely populated area. The creation of this addendum is at the sole discretion of My Salon Suite.
If a prospective My Salon Suite franchisee chooses a location that qualifies for a Nonstandard Territory, they must sign the Territory Change Addendum to receive approval for their proposed location. This addendum likely outlines specific modifications to the standard protected territory due to the unique characteristics of the location.
My Salon Suite retains the right to modify the Nonstandard Territory, indicating that the franchisor has the final say in determining the boundaries and conditions of the territory. This ensures that My Salon Suite can adjust the territory to optimize market coverage and minimize potential conflicts between franchisees.
