What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to My Salon Suite's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, My Salon Suite has sole control over all aspects of the brand's website. This includes the website's design, content, functionality, links to other websites, legal notices, policies, and terms of usage. My Salon Suite also reserves the right to discontinue the website's operation at any time without notifying franchisees.
This level of control is typical in franchising, as it allows My Salon Suite to maintain brand consistency and ensure that all online representations of the franchise meet their standards. It also allows My Salon Suite to control the brand's online presence and manage its reputation.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they cannot create their own website for their My Salon Suite location. They must use the website provided by the franchisor. Franchisees also need to adhere to My Salon Suite's policies regarding social media and internet websites in connection with their franchise. My Salon Suite retains the right to modify these policies as they deem necessary for the best interest of the franchise system. Furthermore, franchisees are prohibited from registering any internet domain name that contains words used in or similar to any brand name owned by My Salon Suite or its affiliates.
