What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 My Salon Suite Franchise Disclosure Document, the term "Approved Location" is referenced throughout the agreement. Specifically, the document states that the franchise agreement requires the franchisee to obtain the franchisor's prior written approval of the location for the franchised business before entering into a lease. This approval is a condition for operating a My Salon Suite franchise. The franchisor also considers the agreement of the property owner to incorporate certain provisions into the lease to protect the franchisor's interests.

Section 8.A of the Franchise Agreement, titled "Franchisor's Obligations," discusses site selection and build-out assistance. It states that My Salon Suite will provide assistance, as it deems appropriate, in connection with selecting the Approved Location and constructing or building out the Franchised Business, as described more fully in Section 7. This indicates that both Section 7 and Section 8.A are relevant to the Approved Location.

Additionally, the background section of the Franchise Agreement mentions that My Salon Suite has developed a system relating to the establishment and operation of facilities at an Approved Location. This further emphasizes the importance of the Approved Location in the franchise agreement and the My Salon Suite business model.
