Franchisor requires Franchisee to: (i) attend the Annual Conference for up to three (3) days per year; and (ii) pay Franchisor's then-current registration fee for such attendance.

If you do not attend the Annual Conference we will charge you the then-current registration fee and the current fee for non-attendance.
All expenses, including Franchisee's and Franchisee's employees' transportation to and from the Annual Conference, and lodging, meals, and salaries during the Annual Conference, are Franchisee's sole responsibility.
Franchisor may use expenditures from the Brand Building Fund for purposes related to the Annual Conference, including costs related to productions, programs, and materials.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to My Salon Suite's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for all expenses associated with attending the Annual Conference. My Salon Suite requires franchisees to attend the Annual Conference for up to three days per year and to pay the then-current registration fee.
This means that as a My Salon Suite franchisee, you must budget for the registration fee as well as all travel-related costs. These costs include transportation to and from the conference, lodging, meals, and any salaries paid to your employees who attend the conference.
My Salon Suite may use funds from the Brand Building Fund for expenses related to the Annual Conference, such as productions, programs, and materials. However, this does not offset the franchisee's responsibility for their own expenses. If a franchisee does not attend the Annual Conference, My Salon Suite will charge the franchisee the then-current registration fee and a non-attendance fee.
