    1. Initial Franchise Fee. You will pay an Initial Franchise Fee of $50,000, and as discount of 50%, if you are a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces that meets the requirements of the VetFran Program, or if you are a First Responder, as determined by us. The Initial Franchise Fee is non-refundable under the terms of the Franchise Agreement. See Item 5 for additional information about your Initial Franchise Fee.
    1. Rent or Real Estate. You must lease or otherwise acquire a suitable facility for the operation of your Franchised Business. You will need a facility with approximately 5,039 to 8,218 square feet of space. Your actual rent payments may vary depending upon your location and your market's retail lease rates. If you purchase instead of lease, the premises for your Franchised Business, then the purchase price, down payment, interest rates, and other financing terms will determine your monthly mortgage payments.
    1. Improvements/Conversions. The cost of converting your business to a My Salon Suite business will vary significantly based on the geographic location and square footage of your Franchised Business. Tenant improvement costs typically range between $183 per square foot and $286 per square foot.
