What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to My Salon Suite's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, My Salon Suite will provide a list of approved vendors in writing as part of the Franchise Operations Manual or otherwise in writing. This list may be updated or modified as My Salon Suite deems appropriate. An approved vendor is any vendor that My Salon Suite approves or designates, which may include My Salon Suite itself.

This means that franchisees are required to purchase certain products and services necessary to operate their My Salon Suite franchise from these approved vendors. This ensures that the franchise maintains a consistent standard of quality and service across all locations. It also allows My Salon Suite to potentially negotiate better pricing or receive rebates from vendors based on the collective purchasing power of its franchisees.

If a franchisee wishes to use a vendor that is not on the approved list, they must submit samples of the vendor's products or services to My Salon Suite, along with a written statement describing why the vendor should be approved. My Salon Suite may charge a fee of approximately $100 to $500 per evaluation. While My Salon Suite is required to respond to a request within 60 days, they generally respond to a request for an additional approved vendor within 7 days. The franchisee must receive written approval before using products from a non-approved vendor, and My Salon Suite may revoke its approval at any time if the vendor no longer meets their standards.
