My_Salon_Suite Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
The Franchise Advisory Council ("Council") was established in January 2017 and has been set up to advise us on operations & advertising policies. Members of the Council consist of both franchisees and corporate representatives. Members of the Council were selected by way of a voting method specified in the Council's bylaws. The purpose of the Council is to provide input regarding the operations and advertising strategy and to promote communication between us and all Franchised Businesses. The Council serves in an advisory capacity only. We will have the power to form, change, or dissolve the Council in our sole discretion.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to My Salon Suite's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, My Salon Suite retains the authority to dissolve the Franchise Advisory Council at its discretion. The Council was established in January 2017 to advise on operational and advertising policies, with members consisting of both franchisees and corporate representatives selected through a voting method outlined in the Council's bylaws.
While the Franchise Advisory Council serves to provide input on operations and advertising strategies and to facilitate communication between My Salon Suite and its franchisees, it functions solely in an advisory capacity. This means that My Salon Suite is not obligated to follow the Council's recommendations or suggestions.
For prospective franchisees, this indicates that while they may have the opportunity to participate in the Franchise Advisory Council and provide input on important aspects of the franchise system, My Salon Suite ultimately has the final say in decisions and can dissolve the Council if it deems necessary. This highlights the importance of understanding the franchisor's decision-making power and the limitations of franchisee input through the Council.
