What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to My Salon Suite's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the My Salon Suite University is offered at least once a quarter, but may be offered more frequently if needed. This training is crucial for franchisees and their designated managers, as it must be completed to My Salon Suite's satisfaction before the franchise can open. If a trainee fails to complete the program satisfactorily, they can re-attend or be replaced by another trainee at the next available session, assuming there is space. However, My Salon Suite may charge the current training tuition rate for these individuals.

Franchisees are responsible for all expenses related to attending My Salon Suite University, including transportation, meals, and employee wages. This financial responsibility underscores the importance of budgeting for training costs when considering a My Salon Suite franchise. The frequency of the training sessions ensures that new franchisees and their staff have ample opportunity to receive the necessary instruction and support.

After the initial training, My Salon Suite recommends that all owners attend My Salon Suite University every 5 years. The franchisor may also require franchisees, designated managers, and other employees to attend Franchise System-wide refresher or additional training courses periodically, some of which may be optional while others are mandatory. This ongoing training helps ensure that franchisees stay updated with the latest practices and standards within the My Salon Suite system.
