What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 My Salon Suite Franchise Disclosure Document, there are several addenda that may supplement the Franchise Agreement. These include the Conversion Addendum, which is used when a franchisee is converting an existing salon business to a My Salon Suite franchise. There is also a Renewal Addendum used when a franchisee is renewing their franchise agreement. Additionally, a Site Selection Addendum, Transfer Addendum, and State Addendum may be included.
The Conversion Addendum amends and supplements the existing Franchise Agreement, incorporating its terms and conditions. In case of conflicts between the two agreements, the terms of the Conversion Addendum take precedence. The Renewal Addendum is used when franchisees are willing to enter into a new franchise agreement with My Salon Suite and desire to amend the terms of the Renewal Franchise Agreement by incorporating the terms of the Renewal Addendum.
The State Addendum modifies the Franchise Disclosure Document and may supersede certain portions of the Franchise Agreement, depending on state law. This addendum applies only if the jurisdictional requirements of a listed state's laws are met independently. Franchisees should carefully review all addenda to understand their rights and obligations under the Franchise Agreement.
