How many days is the My Salon Suite annual conference?
My_Salon_Suite Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
We may schedule and hold an annual conference, as we deem advisable in our sole discretion, to discuss the current state of the Franchise System, improvements to the Franchise System, hold discussion forums for Franchise System franchisees, and recognize certain franchisees.
In the event we schedule a conference, we require you to attend for up to three (3) days each year and pay our then-current registration fee (Section 8.H. of the Franchise Agreement).
If you do not attend the conference we will charge you the thencurrent registration fee and a fee for non-attendance.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 My Salon Suite Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to attend the annual conference, if the franchisor schedules one, for up to three days each year. Franchisees must also pay the then-current registration fee. If a franchisee fails to attend the conference, My Salon Suite will charge the franchisee the then-current registration fee and a fee for non-attendance.
This mandatory conference attendance is a fairly common practice in franchising, intended to ensure that franchisees stay updated on brand standards, new initiatives, and best practices. The fact that My Salon Suite can charge both a registration fee and a non-attendance fee emphasizes the importance they place on franchisee participation.
Prospective franchisees should inquire about the typical costs associated with the conference (registration, travel, accommodation) to factor these into their ongoing operational expenses. They should also ask about the frequency and location of these conferences to assess the time commitment and travel requirements.
