What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to My Salon Suite's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the training materials provided to franchisees remain the property of My Salon Suite. Franchisees are permitted to use these materials to train their own employees. My Salon Suite will provide updated training materials upon request as they are developed.
However, franchisees are explicitly prohibited from challenging My Salon Suite's ownership of these materials. Furthermore, franchisees are not allowed to disclose, duplicate, or make any unauthorized use of the training materials, as outlined in Section 10 of the Franchise Agreement.
This means that while franchisees can use the materials for internal training purposes, they cannot distribute them externally, create derivative works from them, or otherwise infringe on My Salon Suite's intellectual property rights. Franchisees should be aware of these restrictions and ensure that they and their employees comply with them to avoid potential legal issues.
