What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to My Salon Suite's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the estimated cost to purchase their current Computer System ranges from $0 to $2,000. The Computer System includes a laptop or desktop computer that runs 64-bit Microsoft Windows 7 or later, printers and other peripheral hardware/devices, a Square Card reader for payment integration, and equipment necessary to maintain a physical, electronic, or other security system. Franchisees are also required to use My Salon Suite's designated point-of-sale system (POS System).
If a franchisee already possesses computer hardware and software that meets My Salon Suite's standards for the Computer System and/or POS System, they may use these items with the franchisor's approval. Franchisees are responsible for maintaining their Computer System in good repair and for installing any additions, changes, modifications, substitutions, and/or replacements as directed by My Salon Suite in writing.
My Salon Suite estimates that franchisees will spend approximately $500 annually on maintenance and support contracts for their Computer System, which includes any upgrades. Given the rapidly evolving nature of technology, the specific computer make and model, as well as all prices and specifications, are subject to change. This means the initial investment and ongoing maintenance costs could fluctuate, and franchisees should factor this into their financial planning.
