What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to My Salon Suite's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, My Salon Suite has discretion in assisting franchisees with their grand opening advertising campaign. Specifically, My Salon Suite will approve any advertising and promotional materials or plans that a franchisee proposes for use in connection with the grand opening of their Franchised Business. Furthermore, My Salon Suite will assist the franchisee, as they deem appropriate in their sole discretion, with the grand opening advertising campaign.
This means that while franchisees are required to spend a minimum of $15,000 on promoting and advertising their grand opening, My Salon Suite retains control over the advertising materials used and the level of assistance they provide. The grand opening advertising campaign must be conducted within a 90-day period, encompassing 45 days before and 45 days after the grand opening.
This discretion allows My Salon Suite to maintain brand consistency and ensure that all advertising aligns with their overall marketing strategy. However, it also means that franchisees may not have complete autonomy over their grand opening advertising efforts and must work within the guidelines set by My Salon Suite. Franchisees should communicate closely with My Salon Suite to understand their expectations and ensure that their advertising plans are aligned.
