The information in the Franchise Operations Manual is proprietary and is protected by copyright and other laws. The designs contained in the Marks, the layout of our advertising materials, the content and format of our products, and any other writings and recordings in print or electronic form are also protected by copyright and other laws. Although we have not applied for copyright registration for the Franchise Operations Manual, our advertising materials, the content and format of our products, or any other writings and recordings, we claim common law and federal copyrights in these items. We grant you the right to use this proprietary and copyrighted information ("Copyrighted Materials") for the operation of your Franchised Business, but such copyrights remain our sole property.

According to My Salon Suite's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the designs contained in the Marks for My Salon Suite are protected by copyright and other laws. Additionally, the Franchise Operations Manual is proprietary and protected by copyright and other laws. My Salon Suite also claims common law and federal copyrights in their advertising materials, the content and format of their products, and any other writings and recordings, even though they have not applied for copyright registration for these items.
My Salon Suite grants franchisees the right to use this proprietary and copyrighted information, termed "Copyrighted Materials," specifically for operating their franchised business. However, it's important to note that these copyrights remain the sole property of My Salon Suite. This means that while franchisees can utilize these materials, they cannot claim ownership or distribute them independently.
My Salon Suite retains the right to revise its Franchise System and any Copyrighted Materials at its discretion, and may require franchisees to stop using any outdated Copyrighted Materials. Franchisees are responsible for printing any revised or new advertising, marketing, or other business materials. Franchisees must also notify My Salon Suite within three days of learning about potential infringements or challenges to the use of their Copyrighted Materials, Confidential Information, or Trade Secrets. My Salon Suite will then take action as it deems appropriate to protect its rights, but is not required to take any affirmative action.
