According to My Salon Suite's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must pay a Design Standards Fee. This fee ranges from $1,500 to $2,500, payable within five days of receiving an invoice from My Salon Suite.

The Design Standards Fee grants the franchisee access to My Salon Suite's current standards and specifications for building, remodeling, or constructing their franchised business. The fee is considered fully earned upon payment and is non-refundable under any circumstances. The franchisee is responsible for obtaining any necessary architectural, engineering, and design services at their own expense, using an architectural design firm approved by My Salon Suite. Franchisees must provide both CAD and PDF files of the architectural designs for the build-out of the approved location to My Salon Suite.
