Any Proprietary Software, if developed, will be Franchisor's proprietary product and the information collected will be deemed Franchisor's Confidential Information.

  • (5) Area Computer Network.

Upon Franchisor's request, Franchisee will be required to participate in any System-wide area computer network, intranet system, or extranet system that Franchisor implements and may be required by Franchisor to use such area computer network, intranet system, or extranet system to, among other things:

  • (i) submit Franchisee's reports due under this Franchise Agreement to Franchisor on-line;

  • (ii) view and print portions of the Manual, including any updates or modifications thereto;

  • (iii) download approved local advertising materials; (iv) communicate with Franchisor and other System franchisees; and (iv) to complete any initial or ongoing training, in the event Franchisor makes such training accessible through this medium.

Franchisee agrees to use the facilities of any such area computer network, intranet system or extranet system in strict compliance with the standards, protocols, and restrictions that Franchisor included in the Manual, including those related to the encryption of Confidential Information and prohibitions against the transmission of libelous, derogatory, or defamatory statements.

Franchisee understands and agrees that it is solely responsible for any licensing and/or maintenance fee(s) associated with any intranet or extranet described in this Section.

  • (6) E-mail Address.

Franchisee agrees that it will only use the e-mail address provided by Franchisor in connection with the Franchised Business, and that Franchisee will not use such email address for any other purpose.
