As the result of the expenditure of time, skill, effort and money, Franchisor and its Affiliate (as defined below) have developed and own the rights to franchise a unique and distinctive system ("System") relating to the establishment and operation of facilities at an Approved Location (defined in Section 1 below) that provide turnkey salon suite studios and ancillary services to salon professionals under the trademarks "My Salon Suite" (individually the "Franchised Business"). "My Salon Suite" Franchised Businesses provide a luxury environment.

Unless otherwise noted in this Franchise Agreement, all references to "Franchised Business" means the My Salon Suite business designated by Franchisor in Attachment A.
