Currently we require: (i) a laptop or other computer that meets Franchisor's then- current specifications and is capable of running accounting software such as QuickBooks and/or tenant scheduling software; (ii) a customized point ofsale system ("POS System"), in the event Franchisor makes such a POS System part of its proprietary operating system in the future; (iii) Square card reader for payment integration and processing;(iv) printers and other peripheral hardware/devices; and (v) equipment necessary to maintain a physical, electronic or other security system for the Approved Location and Franchised Business that Franchisor may designate (collectively, the "Computer System").

What This Means (2025 FDD)

In addition to the card reader, My Salon Suite may also require franchisees to use designated software and may charge a monthly fee for any custom or proprietary software used in the franchised business. However, if a franchisee already possesses computer hardware or software that meets My Salon Suite's standards, they may be allowed to use their existing equipment, subject to My Salon Suite's approval.
