What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Gold Star's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must provide monthly sales reports, interim financial statements, copies of tax returns, and any other requested business records within fifteen (15) days of the company's request. This requirement ensures that Gold Star can monitor the financial performance of its franchisees and maintain consistent brand standards.
This obligation allows Gold Star to accurately assess royalties, advertising fund contributions, and overall financial health of the franchise. Franchisees should maintain organized and up-to-date records to efficiently comply with these requests.
Failure to provide these documents within the specified timeframe could potentially lead to penalties or other actions by Gold Star, as outlined in the franchise agreement. Therefore, prospective franchisees should be prepared to maintain meticulous records and respond promptly to any requests from Gold Star for financial information.
